Rivareno x Sonoma, Easter Exclusives are BACK!
As Easter approaches, a few seasonal treats stand out. One of the most anticipated is the collaboration between Rivareno Gelato and Sonoma Bakery. It has become a Sydney favourite during the Easter season.
At the centre of the collab is the Gelato Filled Hot Cross Bun. Sonoma’s buns are soft, spiced, and rich with fruit. Rivareno’s gelato is smooth and creamy. Together, they create the perfect contrast. Warm meets cold. Classic meets modern.
Also returning is the Crema Di Pasqua gelato. This limited-edition flavour is a highlight. It features a custard base with Sicilian marsala. There are caramelised almonds and pieces of hot cross bun throughout. The result is rich, layered, and satisfying.
Part of the appeal is its limited run. The buns are available from 30th March to 6th April. They are sold in all stores, while stocks last each day. Many regulars wait all year for this drop.
If you plan to try one, go early. They often sell out fast. Mornings are your best chance. You will also get the best texture and contrast.
You can keep it classic. Or you can try something more indulgent. Pistachoi, Cremino Rivareno, Bacio, Stracciatella, Fior Di Panna all work well. There is no wrong choice, plus you can add on yoru favourite sauce like Gianduia or Pistachio.
This collaboration is more than a dessert. It is a seasonal ritual. It blends tradition with creativity. And it remains one of Sydney’s most loved Easter treats.
