But Rivareno is taking this classic Italian dessert to a whole new level with the launch of its freshly made affogato range. Crafted right in front of you at the moment of order, each variation is layered, textured, and designed to deliver a rich, multi-sensory experience.

With three distinct flavours—Cremino, Pistachio, and Tiramisu—this new range transforms affogato from a quick coffee treat into a fully realised dessert.

Cremino Affogato: A Chocolate-Hazelnut Dream

The Cremino affogato is all about depth and indulgence. It begins with a silky layer of gianduia (a luxurious blend of chocolate and hazelnut) spread across the base of the glass. A scoop of gelato follows, creating the perfect foundation for what comes next.

As hot espresso is poured over the top, the gelato slowly melts, merging with the chocolate base into a velvety fusion. A generous addition of our mascarpone cream brings a creamy richness, while a sprinkle of hazelnut crumble adds texture and crunch. For pistachio lovers, this one is hard to beat. The experience starts with a vibrant pistachio sauce layered at the bottom of the glass, immediately setting the tone with its rich, nutty flavour.

A scoop of pistachio gelato intensifies that flavour profile before a shot of hot espresso is poured over, creating a beautiful contrast in both temperature and taste. The addition of our mascarpone  cream  enhances the creaminess, while pistachio crumble introduces a satisfying bite. Tiramisu Affogato: A Classic Reimagined

Inspired by the beloved Italian dessert, the tiramisu affogato brings familiar flavours into a new format. It starts, like the Cremino, with a base of gianduia, followed by a scoop of gelato.

Once the espresso is poured over, the transformation begins; melting, blending, and creating that signature affogato texture. Our mascarpone cream  is added for its signature richness, while sponge finger biscuits are layered in to echo the structure of a traditional tiramisu. A final dusting of cacao powder completes the experience, delivering a dessert that feels both nostalgic and innovative.
